Kegs World CUP Final and all EOS Results

What a fantastic exciting week of finals!! On Monday at Sportsman we had 5 finals 

At Hustlers on  Wednesday we had 3. all were supported by a large contingent of runner up teams.

It is interesting how much energy goes onto our pool league. Look at the stats and imagine, with 122,000 balls potted last seasons, how many kilometers are walked around tables to achieve that. Maybe the calories burned balance out on the 4000 litres of drinking too. It must be good for us if 200 people keep doing it every week.

We are blessed with a league which is so much more than just being about winning. In a "once in, no way out community deal", its natural harmony sees people helping each other unconditionally and any issues get sorted in such a positive ways, so we not only learn but get better. That natural bond and the trust we build by challenging each other in social pool team matches where everyone is involved, is what makes it so much fun, so it just works.

Congratulations to everyone for such a wonderful season  The Presentation party is on 20th of August from 8 PM at CLUB 15. The details are on our face book page. We will then do it all again, staring Sept 3. The fixtures will be out soon.

Kegs World CUP Semi Final

Here are the results of the KEGS semi final matches. Winners as shown now advance  to the finals.

The five Monday Mixed Finals will be played Sportsman. The three Wednesday 9 Ball matches will be played at Hustlers.

As a bonus on Monday Sportsman will open the remaining upstairs tables for an unofficial third place play off matches. So please come along and make that happen.

KEGS World CUP - Group Stage Round 3 of 3

What an exciting conclusion to the groups stage this week as we get ready for the semi-finals next week.

Here are the KEGS World CUP - Group Stage Round 3 of 3 results with Cup Classes progress.

On right are final Group Stage results and Cup Class achieved by each Country/Team.

The  Knockout table on the left shows regrouped teams for Semi-Finals in each Cup Class in pairs order of both semi final matches to be played for each class. 

The numbering shows final Groug stage ranking of all paticipation, with each class arranged in pairs so highest ranked plays the lowest ranked in its class and 2nd ranked plays 3rd . e.g in the plate 5 plays 8 and 6 plays 7

Here are the Semi Final Matches for each Cup Class as now fixtured to be played 

All teams will play at a neutral venue shown. Host Venues will provide the normal refreshments and food and the forts named team will act as host for match c-ordination and Cerros scoring 

Good luck everyone for the knockout semi-finals, where everyone is in and everyone plays and all teams play in a neutral venue.
